So, for my birthday, I've received a new Canon PowerShot A590, which is pretty good for automatic/easy picture taking, but also has manual modes to play around with aperture, shutter speed and the like. This first means that I must learn what everything means. Does anyone have any good links to recommend for beginner photographers? Then we might see some photography around here too--and come this fall, photos from Sweden!

I'm thinking about adding something to the effect of featured artist, and advertising a few of their pieces in a space on this page. Would you be interested? Perhaps featured tutorials would be better... yeah, I think I like that, since we're all here on dA to improve ourselves, not necessarily to oogle other people's art.
